Google releases Chrome security update (83.0.4103.106)

Google has released Chrome 83.0.4103.106 security update for Windows, Mac and Linux.

An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to take control of impacted systems.

The Chrome security update addresses 4 security fixes, to include the following 3 high severity vulnerabilities:

  • CVE-2020-6505: Use after free in speech.
  • CVE-2020-6506: Insufficient policy enforcement in WebView.
  • CVE-2020-6507: Out of bounds write in V8.

Users should close and re-start their Chrome browsers in order for automatic updates to take affect.
